Injective Expands to Ethereum Layer-3 with Arbtrum Technology

Injective launches its own layer-3 network, leveraging Arbitrum technology, to enhance interoperability and revive the INJ token.

Injective Expands to Ethereum Layer-3 with Arbtrum Technology

Injective Branches out to Ethereum Layer-3

Injective, originally a Cosmos-based blockchain, witnessed its INJ token's price skyrocket in 2023, seeing a 33-fold increase. However, facing a price drop this year, Injective is taking a bold step forward by announcing the launch of its layer-3 network within the Ethereum ecosystem. The upgrade leverages the technology of the layer-2 project Arbitrum, aiming to reinvigorate the INJ token's dynamism.

Interoperability at the Forefront

The newly dubbed "inEVM" network, compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), aims to create bridges connecting the Ethereum, Cosmos, and Solana networks. Developers will utilize Arbitrum's Orbit toolkit for building custom chains that benefit from interoperability among different blockchain ecosystems, potentially opening new pathways for the INJ token.

Fueling the Injective Ecosystem

Injective's collaboration with Arbitrum is more than just an expansion; it's about reinforcing interoperable blockchain solutions. By transacting on the inEVM network, users will be contributing to the Injective ecosystem's tokenomics. This includes the regular burning of the $INJ token, aligning with a shared vision of seamless cross-chain asset and liquidity composition.
