Executive's Extradition Imminent

Nadeem Anjarwalla, a Binance crypto exchange executive, seized by Nigerian authorities and found in Kenya, is on the brink of extradition according to local media reports. Multiple sources indicate that Anjarwalla may be repatriated to Nigeria with cooperation between Nigerian and Kenyan officials, facilitated by the aid of INTERPOL.

Charges Against Crypto Executive

Anjarwalla, alongside another Binance executive, Tigran Gambaryan, faced arrest in February over allegations of manipulating exchange rates, avoiding tax, and laundering money. While Anjarwalla allegedly fled Nigeria using a concealed passport, Gambaryan remains in Nigeria, having contested the money laundering charges in court.

International Response and Inquiry

The case is gaining international attention, with CoinDesk conducting inquiries with INTERPOL, Kenya's foreign ministry, and Nigeria’s police force for additional comments on the unfolding situation.
