In response to the campaign by Fairshake, Porter's spokesperson defends her belief in market freedom paired with consumer protections, suggesting that the attack is fueled by misinformation from wealthy interests.

With over $80 million in funding, Fairshake's super PAC represents one of the largest crypto-backed political influences in the U.S. This move against Porter is not isolated, as another crypto-backed group has also opposed Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio) for his stance on digital assets legislation.
