Significant Support for Bitcoin

The largest US-based cryptocurrency exchange, Coinbase, has made a notable contribution of $3.6 million to Brink, an organization dedicated to the Bitcoin developer community. Brink aims to allocate the funds without conditions to enhance the engineers' work on the Bitcoin network.

End of GiveCrypto Initiative

The donation was made through GiveCrypto, a charitable branch of Coinbase, intended to aid those in need with cryptocurrency gifts. However, Coinbase declared the end of GiveCrypto, as it did not achieve the envisioned impact. The leftover funds will benefit both Brink and GiveDirectly, extending support to Bitcoin development and those in need of aid, respectively.
